More Shredding
A lot more shredding was done yesterday. Here is a list of things that I would like to put in the shredder.
- Chedder Cheese ("There's chedder in the shredder!")
- Eddie Vedder ("Vedder in the shredder!")
- My hand
- A necktie that I was wearing
- One of those new ultra thin macbooks
- Lettuce
- Ice
- That weird squishy pig face that I got in China
- Blackberry
- Loaf of bread

Shredding
This weekend, a new paper shredder was purchased for Japanese Jesus headquarters and I have rediscovered my love for shredding. Yesterday, I did an incredible amount of shredding of records (not the LP kind, but that would be fun to put through the shredder). The shredder is a little noisy (I didn't want to shell out the big bucks for the "whisper quiet" model) so I had to stop shredding at night. And I still have lots of stuff to shred. I encourage everyone to get a shredder and shred shred shred.
If you don't have a shredder, feel free to bring your shredables to JJ HQ and we'll shred them for you. Or you can shred your own shredables using our shredder. Or you can stop by and shred our shredables using our shredder. One of these days, we may try putting some chedder in the shredder.

2007 in Film
It's Oscar time and I have a feeling that the fans of Japanese Jesus are interested in the ten best movies from last year. Here it is in no particular order with comments:
No Country For Old Men (best of the year)
There Will Be Blood (second best of the year)
3:10 to Yuma (surprisisngly excelelnt)
Eastern Promises (Cronenberg's best ever)
Michael Clayton (worst movie title of the year)
Superbad (Michael Cera might be the best ever at playing awkward teens)
Juno (Michael Cera again, and Ellen Page was great)
Before The Devil Knows You're Dead (Lumet surprises with first excellent film in 25 years)
I'm Not There (Gere was unnecesary, Blanchett was brilliant)

A Dindastic End of Year List
It's that time of year when everyone and their mother posts or publishes various "Best Of" lists from the past year. (We may even have our own "Best Of" list sometime soon.)
